Tea Dyed Easter Eggs

Naturally dyed easter eggs using tea and herbs.

Any Tea or Herb of Choice


  • water

  • vinegar

  • hard-boiled eggs

  • dried tea and herbs of choice


  • Bring 2 cups of water to boil in a small sauce pan.

  • Add 1 tbsp of dried herb or tea of choice

  • Let simmer for 10 minutes

  • Strain into a small bowl or mug and allow to cool for about 30 minutes

  • Add 1-2 tbsp of white vinegar

  • Place 1 hard boiled egg in the cooled mixture and let sit for 2-4 hours

  • Remove from mixture and allow to air dry
